Sedex is not a standard-setting body and doesn't approve or certify our policies and standards. Instead, becoming a member of Sedex is a sign of Running Imp's willingness to share information and to utiles this information to help manage and improve ethical standards within the supply chain.
All employment is freely chosen
There is no forced, bonded or involuntary prison labour.

Working conditions are safe and hygienic
A safe and hygienic working environment shall be provided, bearing in mind the prevailing knowledge of the industry and of any specific hazards. All workers shall be provided with written and understandable information about their employment and about the particulars of their wages for the pay period concerned each time that they are paid.
No harsh, cruel or degrading treatment or practices are permitted
All employees are treated with dignity and respect. Physical abuse or discipline, the threat of physical abuse, sexual or other harassment and verbal abuse or other forms of intimidation are expressly prohibited.
