Will you be celebrating VE Day's 80th Anniversary?

The Nation will join together on the 8th of May to commemorate VE Day's 80th Anniversary! 

Marking 80 years since the end of World War II and peace in Europe, this anniversary signifies a historic moment of history, and a cause for remembrance, respect and celebration.

Did you know?

From April through 2025, Arts Council England will work with arts organisations to join with their communities and creatively commemorate, celebrate and reflect on the 80th anniversary of VE Day. 

Funding will also be available through the National Lottery Community Fund Awards for all programmes.

Organisations can bid for grants to host events, activities and projects this year for communities to come together to commemorate the war and its impact on individuals and communities across the country.
